Broad planes fold around a dense center, suggesting a body or pair of bodies held within the original stone. The irregular contour and unfinished texture preserve the force of direct carving, while a diagonal turn brings movement to the compact mass. Shallow depressions and rounded projections alternate like gestures of shelter and release. Nothing is fully disclosed; the image remains suspended between abstraction and the human figure. The sculpture treats enclosure not as confinement, but as an intimate act of protection.
